Thief Snatched Bag Of Cash From Under Oblivious Woman's Nose

This footage reportedly shows a thief snatching a bag of cash from beside a woman's feet as she waits for her food.

CCTV footage from 28th August shows the theft in the Woodbrook area of Port of Spain, in Trinidad and Tobago.

The video shows a man walking up to her table, taking the bag and running out through the dining area before other customers react.

The woman had drawn a large sum in cash from a bank shortly beforehand and had the bag at her feet while she sat waiting.

She is said to have been followed from the bank without realising it.

She did not notice the bag had gone until other diners told her.

Thefts of this kind, in which criminals watch bank customers and follow them to a second location, are known to police forces as jugging.

Woodbrook is a central district of Port of Spain known for its restaurants and bars.
