Car Shoots Into Air Before Landing Vertically On Roadside Wall

This is the moment a car suddenly shoots off the road, flies into the air and lands vertically against a roadside wall.

The bizarre crash happened in the city of Qujing, in southwestern China’s Yunnan Province, and was shared on Douyin - the Chinese version of TikTok on 25th August.

Dashcam footage shows the car travelling along the road before it suddenly veers into a ditch at the roadside.

The vehicle appears to bounce after plunging into the ditch, sending it flying upwards and over towards the wall.

It then landed on top of the wall, leaving the car stranded in the unusual position.

Witness Ms. Li said the people inside the car were not seriously hurt following the crash.

Ms. Li added that the crash did cause some damage to the wall, which was left cracked after the impact.

A crane was subsequently brought in to lift the car away from the wall.

The driver also agreed to repair the damaged wall following the crash.

One commenter, Ocean ZcT, criticised driving standards, writing: "The quality of driving school training is seriously flawed! We frequently encounter drivers on the street who don't know how to brake in dangerous situations!"

There were no further details about why the car left the road or the identities of the driver and passengers.
