Moment Entrepreneur Fights Off Seven Armed Kidnappers And Runs For His Life

This is the shocking moment an entrepreneur fights off a group of armed men trying to kidnap him before he runs for his life and escapes on foot.

CCTV footage from 28th August shows the attempted kidnapping in Huejotzingo, in the Mexican state of Puebla.

The video shows him reversing out of his driveway when a pickup pulls up at speed and blocks him in, and six men get out.

One of them is carrying a rifle and gets in through the passenger door while two others struggle with him from the driver's side.

One smashes the window with a crowbar and the other gets the door open, before three more men climb out of the same vehicle and surround him.

He manages to get out of the car and runs towards open ground, breaking free after a brief struggle.

One of the attackers aimed a weapon at him twice during the chase, though the footage does not show whether it was fired.

The men gave up and returned to the pickup, and the one with the rifle went back to the car, took an unidentified object and left with them.

The driver, reportedly a local entrepreneur, then returns to his vehicle and appeared to be unhurt.

The attack happened at 7.44am on Friday, 28th August, in the Primer Barrio district of the town.

Investigators have opened a file to trace those responsible, though the municipal police have issued no statement.
