This is the moment raunchy Brazilian singer MC Pipokinha performs partially undressed as dancers simulate sex acts during a public show watched by teenagers as young as around 14 that has now landed her with a GBP 14,000 fine.
The performance took place during the Esquenta do Magrao event in Corumba, in Brazil's Mato Grosso do Sul state near the Bolivian border, on 16 February 2023.
Footage considered by the court shows Pipokinha, whose real name is Doroth Helena de Sousa Alves, performing on top of a sound truck while dancers make sexual movements and physical contact simulating sex acts.
The 28-year-old singer was partially undressed during the performance, according to the evidence examined by the court.
Teenagers were among the crowd watching the show, including youngsters aged around 14.
The performance took place in an open public area and could also be seen by passers-by who were not attending the event.
People at a nearby school were even able to see the show while classes were taking place, according to the court.
Prosecutors in Mato Grosso do Sul had already raised concerns before the event about whether the performance would be appropriate with teenagers expected to be present.
Child protection officials were informed and the organisers were formally notified before the show took place.
Videos recording the performance were later sent to prosecutors and became part of the investigation.
Judge Mauricio Cleber Miglioranzi Santos, from the 1st Civil Court of Corumba, ruled that the organisers should have taken measures to prevent children and teenagers being exposed to the sexual content.
The judge also found that the nature of the performance could have been anticipated because of the known content of Pipokinha's shows.
The court ruled that the performance, in the circumstances in which it took place, went beyond the limits of artistic freedom.
Pipokinha was ordered to pay BRL 100,000, equivalent to around GBP 14,000, for collective moral damages.
Four other people involved in staging the event were each ordered to pay BRL 15,525, bringing the combined compensation to BRL 162,100, or around GBP 22,700.
The money is to be paid to Corumba's Municipal Fund for the Rights of Children and Adolescents.
Brazilian media reported that Pipokinha had not responded to requests for comment about the ruling.
