This is the moment a pack of barking stray dogs chase a Tibetan bear through a street after the animal wanders into a populated area.
The unusual scene was recorded in Baga Township, Biru County, Nagqu, Tibet Autonomous Region, western China, on 9th June.
The footage shows the bear running along a road as several dogs pursue it while repeatedly barking through the settlement, as onlookers watch in surprise.
Buildings and parked vehicles can be seen nearby, and reports said the animal had entered the area while searching for food.
A member of staff at the Baga Township Police Station said the incident involved stray dogs pursuing the bear through the area.
The animal was reportedly spotted wandering through the township before being driven away by the dogs.
Local officials said bears are regularly seen in the region.
They added that monitoring wildlife movements remains difficult because of limited manpower available for patrols.
Local reports identified the animal as a Tibetan brown bear, a species found across parts of the Tibetan Plateau.
The Tibetan brown bear (Ursus arctos pruinosus), or Tibetan blue bear, is a rare high-altitude subspecies known for its unique silver-blue coat and white collar.
No injuries to people or animals were reported following the incident.
