This is the moment Ukrainian drones strike the Russian-occupied commercial port of Mariupol in an attack authorities said knocked out its power and left it unusable as a military supply hub.

The footage was obtained from the National Guard of Ukraine's First Corps, known as Azov, on 10th June, and shows the strike in the city of Mariupol, in Ukraine's Russian-occupied Donetsk Oblast.

The video appears to show the feeds from drones homing in on vessels and infrastructure in the port, with the feeds cutting as the drones presumably hit their targets.

Mariupol has been under Russian control since 2022, when Moscow seized it after a brutal siege early in its full-scale invasion.

The seaport links occupied Donetsk, Crimea and Russia, and has long been used to ship stolen Ukrainian grain, coal and metals out of the country, according to the Ukrainian authorities.

Azov said in a statement: "As a result of a joint operation conducted by the First Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, the Special Operations Center 'A', and the Unmanned Systems Forces, critical infrastructure facilities of the Mariupol Commercial Port were destroyed.

"Electrical substations, radar equipment, repair infrastructure, the control tower, and fuel and lubricant storage tanks were hit, as well as the sanctioned dry cargo vessel Lady Augusta, which is part of Russia's shadow fleet.

"Through the coordinated efforts of all units involved, the enemy has suffered another painful blow.

"The Mariupol Sea Commercial Port has been left without power, and Russian military logistics have been significantly disrupted.

"Azov continues to monitor logistics capabilities and enforce sanctions against Russians in the Sea of Azov region.

"Glory to Ukraine!"

An earlier strike on the same port on 5th June destroyed eight fuel storage tanks and damaged nine others, Ukrainian military assessments showed.
