A 22-year-old female bike influencer has died in a crash while riding, just months after reportedly narrowly escaping death in another motorcycle accident.

A 22-year-old female bike influencer has died in a crash while riding, just months after reportedly narrowly escaping death in another motorcycle accident.
The crash happened in Istanbul, Turkey, on 17th August, leaving her family, friends and thousands of social media followers devastated.
Ceyda Yakova, who was also a former volleyball player, had built a following of tens of thousands by sharing motorcycle riding videos, motorbike content and posts about her sporting life on Instagram and TikTok.
Friends and people close to the young creator, who had more than 15.5k Instagram followers, had reportedly warned her about dangerous manoeuvres she sometimes performed while riding.
It was also revealed that she had been involved in another motorcycle accident in April, when she reportedly narrowly escaped death.
Her latest crash proved fatal, and Ceyda was buried on 18th August as grieving relatives and friends gathered to say goodbye.
Istanbul Bilgi University confirmed her death in a tribute, saying: “We are deeply saddened by the loss of our graduate Ceyda Yakova from the Psychology Department of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.”
“We extend our condolences and patience to her family and all her loved ones,” the university added.
Ceyda had also previously played volleyball for Tesvikiye Sports Club, which mourned the former player following her death.
Alongside her sporting background, the 22-year-old became known online for motorcycle riding and motovlog-style content, attracting a large audience across social media.
Her posts showing her riding motorcycles and performing dangerous manoeuvres had also prompted concern from people close to her.
In one recent exchange, her friend Sinan Islam Yilmaz reacted to one of her posts with the comment: “I’m scared to death.”
Ceyda responded: “Then I’ll do it again, brother.”
The exchange was later highlighted following her death as friends and followers mourned the young creator.
Born on 17th December 2003, Ceyda had graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University’s Psychology Department.
Her university identified her as a graduate of its Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, while her former sports club confirmed her background as a volleyball player.
Reports said her family and friends had previously expressed concern about her motorcycle riding, particularly when she performed dangerous manoeuvres.
