Trans Influencer Dumped Boyfriend After He Strangled Her In A Jealous Rage And Says Women Should Never Accept Abuse

A transgender beauty influencer has urged women not to give violent men a second chance after revealing she dumped her boyfriend when he put her in a chokehold at a packed nightclub.

Bella Longuinho, 24, said the relationship ended after what she described as a public attack during a night out in Sao Paulo, Brazil's largest city and financial hub, on 7th June, when her boyfriend wrongly believed a fan had touched her bum while posing for a photo.

The influencer, who has 1.5 million Instagram followers, said she was approached by a fan who asked to take a photograph with her while she was at a party.

Bella alleged that her then-boyfriend, influencer Wil Leite, became angry after believing the fan had touched her buttocks.

Bella first spoke about the alleged assault shortly after the incident and announced that the relationship was over.

She said: "I was assaulted by my boyfriend at a party, in public. I have never felt so humiliated in my life."

Bella said: "We were at a party and a fan came to ask for a photo with me. In my ex-boyfriend's mind, he thought the fan had touched my butt. Even if that had happened, he had no right to do what he did to me.

"He came over, grabbed me by the neck and then put me in a chokehold. He started shouting at me, saying I wasn't going to take that photo."

The content creator said she intended to pursue legal action and urged other women not to ignore warning signs in relationships.

She said: "When we're dating and in love, we become blind. Looking back, I think there were signs of aggression, but he had never touched me before.

"There is no second chance because that second chance could cost you your life. Don't give violence a second chance because it isn't worth it."

Wil later posted his own video on social media apologising for his actions.

The influencer said he pulled Bella away from a man he believed had touched her during the event.

Wil said: "I wanted to apologise to Isabella, her family, all trans women and all cis women.

"We were at a party and it was very chaotic. Someone came to take a photo with her and then touched her."

He admitted grabbing Bella forcefully after she did not respond when he tried to get her attention.

Wil said: "I pulled her very roughly. I had drunk quite a lot and I know that doesn't justify it. I'm very sorry for everything that happened."

The couple had made their relationship public earlier this year, months after Bella underwent gender reassignment surgery in Thailand.

Bella, who was born in Santa Rita do Sapucai in the southern part of Minas Gerais state, rose to fame online by documenting her gender transition and sharing beauty and lifestyle content.

Bella has openly documented her gender transition on social media, sharing details of multiple surgeries and cosmetic procedures with her followers.

She previously revealed that she underwent breast implant surgery and five facial feminisation surgeries, including procedures on her Adam's apple, chin, jaw, nose and forehead.

In April last year, she revealed she had undergone further cosmetic treatment to make her buttocks appear more feminine, receiving more than 20 millilitres of hyaluronic acid injections after previously having 80 millilitres injected into the area.

The influencer also said she planned to undergo additional treatments to improve skin quality and increase volume.
